Yosemite is a popular place to visit and reservations can be tough. Choosing off seasons and times to visit may make your getting a reservation alot easier. The least visited months to this US National Park is November, January, February and March. The least visited days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
Yosemite reservations can be made 366 days in advance of your arrival. Call first thing in the morning and avoid calling during the lunch hour. Reservations can also be made through the links below or online at Yosemite Park.
If Yosemite Nat Park is full, its not a bad idea to stay in one of the many outlining lodging choices by each of the entrances.
Be sure to book your activities before you come too. Reservations for Yosemite horseback riding is necessary because this activity is popular.

Fee's And Permits
Park entrance fee Every vehicle coming into the park needs to pay a $20 entrance fee. This fee is per vehicle, not per person. This fee allows you to stay in the park for up to seven days.
Walking into the park, motorcycles and non commercial bus fee is $10 per person.
Commercial sedan seating up to 6 people the fee is $25 plus $10 per person.
Commercial Van seating seven to fifteen people the fee is $125.
Commercial Mini Bus seating sixteen to twenty-five people the fee is $200.
Commercial Motor Coach that seats more than 26 people the fee is $300.
Licenses And Permits
Fishing License
If you are fishing in the National Park then you need a current
California Fishing License. A license is needed for anyone who is age 16
and older. If you need to get a license when you are here, they may be
purchased at Curry Village Mountain Shop, Yosemite Sport Shop, Wawona
Store, Crane Flat General Store and Tuolumne Meadows.

You need a permit if you are filming, video taping, sound recording or still photography if you have professional crew and you are making a service advertisement for the park. Wedding Permits are $150 for the Special Use Permit. A number of weddings are performed in the chapel, in meadows, up at Glacier Point and throughout the park. Yosemite reservations are needed to get married in the park. Wilderness And Back Country Permits These are free. This is a required permit if you are spending the night in the wilderness.
