Yosemite Falls And Yosemite Creek

June 9, 2011, Day Trip. I live in Sacramento, CA, so a day trip is easy enough - 2 in June and I'm going again. Falls as full as I've ever seen them. Not too many people on a Thursday.

I was testing a new camera, so I think this turned out just fine. Took this shot as I was walking to Lower Yosemite Fall, late afternoon, sun glistening off the water as it rushed under my feet.

I took over 100 pix that day and this seems to be everyone's favorite, so I decided to share it with you. If you live in CA and don't go to Yosemite, you should be deported to Nevada! :)

That is a beautiful picture of Lower Yosemite Falls. Your new camera is taking excellent pictures! The water was high in June this year.

I took a group of friends rafting in Yosemite 3 weeks ago. And it still blows my mind how many people here in Fresno and Clovis that have never been to Yosemite. I just shake my head and tell them they are missing out!

One family had so much fun they went back to Yosemite the following week to bike ride. They have lived in Clovis for 35 years and it was only their second visit to Yosemite! But I think they now understand the beauty in their own backyard...better late than never :)
