Ice Skating At Yosemite Curry VillageThe Yosemite Curry Village outdoor ice skating rink is open in the winter months. It is open from the middle of November till the middle of March. Weather dictates when the rink opens and closes. While you are having fun in the rink you will have a great view of Half Dome! The outdoor rink is located at the base of Glacier Point, so all you have to do is look up to see Glacier Point! This is one of the great Yosemite activities to do if you come to see Yosemite in winter. There are four sessions a day to choose to go. Next to the rink there is an outdoor fire pit, vending machines, a small store (you can buy marshmellows, grahm crackers and chocolate bars in the store to make s'mores!) and a building they call the hut to go in and warm up in. The rink is smoothed over between sessions.
Wear your warm coat and bring your scarf, hat and gloves! Skating here brings smiles and makes for GREAT pictures! Weekends and Holiday Sessions 8:30 am - 11:00 am Weekday Sessions 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm Cost is $8 for adults to skate and $6 for children. Bring your own skates or rent the skates for $3.
