The unplanned trip to Glacier Point

I don't know why but we hadn't planned on going to Glacier Point. We were at Yosemite for 5 days and on the third day we saw that it was only about an hour away from the Wawona Hotel where we were staying. (that was a treasure in itself)

When we got up to the Point we were awestruck. Everyone that goes to Yosemite should see the views from Glacier Point. It was the highlight of our incredible family vacation and to think we almost missed it!
