Glacier Point and Yosemite
by: Tom

I hiked in Yosemite many years ago. I did Half Dome via the cable route; spectacular!
I especially liked the Tioga Pass area, passing below 13,000 ft Mt Dana and other peaks.
The views are expansive: Mt Gibbs, Lewis Peak, Kuna Crest, Clouds Rest, Half Dome and more.

Everyone Needs To Go To Glacier Point!
by: Kathy Medina

So glad that you didn't leave Yosemite National Park without going to the top of Glacier Point! The overlook of Yosemite Valley, the back country and the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range is breath taking!

Glacier Point is something everyone who comes here should try to do. That is why I have it on Activities To Do and Points Of Interest...the views from Glacier Point need to be see to really appreciate the magnitude of Yosemite.

If anyone gets the opportunity to be up at Glacier Point after dark, you will be amazed at the clarity of the stars and heavens. No city lights to stop the views!
