Stupid People Stories In YosemiteI just couldn't pass up putting together a page of stupid people stories in Yosemite. I know I should not say the word stupid. I should use the words crazy, out of their ever loving mind, nuts or wacko. But if you just watch the videos below, I think that you will wholeheartedly agree with my choice to just go with the word stupid!Now just in case your wondering...all of these things are illegal! It just goes to show that the park rangers can't be everywhere at once. Some of the people who filmed these stunts couldn't believe what they were witnessing, so I apologize for the use of fowl words in some of the videos. Turn your speakers down and just watch! Stupid People Videos: Here is a guy who rock climbs, get drunk and then falls. His fall is broken only because his leg gets wrapped up in his rope. Part 1 Part 2 Here are some people who decided that bungee jumping would be a good idea: Here are two guys base jumping in Yosemite off of Half Dome: This guy is high on drugs and thinks there is a meaning to a double rainbow in Yosemite. Here is a guy who walks across a tighrope over Yosemite Falls: At first he doesn't make it: Here he makes it: Over the railing, over the edge and over confident up at Glacier Point: No ones here, lets do a handstand up at Glacier Point! On the visor up at Half Dome: This one is not stupid. It's very cool. Cool because he is trained and skilled to do this! Here is a photographers story about getting the perfect picture of those who climb, tight rope walk and base jump. He's got to be able to get where the action is so he can photograph them.
