519 Rock Falls In Yosemite...And Counting!
by: Kathy Medina

Hi David, What an interesting report that you are doing. My information came from a park official pointing me here: http://pubs.usgs.gov/of/2003/of03-491/

Below the short article is a link that is titled, Historical Rock Falls Worksheet. If you click on the link, it lists each and everyone of the rockfalls in Yosemite. Hopefully this will help you.

There is also a link on the page for you to contact the expert in this area. His name is Gerald F. Wiecorek. I am sure that he can help you if the links on his page don't give you all the answers that you are looking for.

I hope this helps. Report back and let me know if you find the information that you are looking for and how your report works out. If your interested in sharing your findings, I'll be more than happy to put in on this site for others to read about!

All my best,

Kathy
