What is the shortest way to get to Yosemite National Park from South Lake Tahoe on the 23rd of April? Do you know what roads will be open then?

Check road conditions before coming. For up to date Yosemite road conditions you may call (209) 372-0200 or 1-800-427-7623. Below is the route that you will be taking.


From South Lake Tahoe:

1. Head southeast on El Dorado Ave toward Tulare Ave
0.1 mi
2. Turn left at Oakland Ave
0.4 mi
3. Take the 1st right onto Los Angeles Ave
0.2 mi
4. Turn right at Lake Tahoe Blvd
2.4 mi
5. Turn left at CA-89 S/US-50 W/Emerald Bay Rd
Continue to follow CA-89 S/US-50 W
4.8 mi
6. Turn left at CA-89 S/Luther Pass Rd (signs for Markleeville/Jackson/CA-88)
Continue to follow CA-89 S
11.2 mi
7. Turn right at CA-88 W
70.1 mi
8. Turn left at CA-49 S
14.4 mi
9. Turn left at CA-49 S/W St Charles St
Continue to follow CA-49 S
