Molly's Kickin Mac And Cheese

by Kay S.
(Canada)

Ingredients:

1 Pound of pasta
1 Cup (or more!) of sharp cheddar cheese, diced
4 Tablespoons of dried milk
4 Tablespoons of butter
A Dash of red pepper flakes
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

When your getting ready for your trip at home, put the salt, pepper, garlic powder, pepper flakes and butter all together in a ziplock bag.

When your ready to make your mac and cheese at camp just boil the pasta in a pot of water (10-12 minutes). Drain most of the water from the pasta. Leave just a small amount of water in the bottom of the pan of the pasta. Rehydrate your dried milk by adding water.

Now add the milk and your ziplock baggie of spices to the pasta. Return you pan to the fire and add your diced cheese. Stir until melted.
