Glacier National Park In Montana
Glacier National Park in Montana covers 1.4 million acres. Located in Northwestern Montana, it is so popular that 4 million people visit each year. At one time ice glaciers cut deep into the rock here and left three very distinct valleys. Each valley has its own beautiful waterfalls, dense forests, lakes, streams, tundra and meadows. The natural beauty of this area is unsurpassed. Glacier National Park doesn't get its name from the 26 current living glaciers here. It gets its name because of what past glaciers have left behind.
