Bring Your Own Fishing Gear To Yosemite
by: Kathy Medina

Hi, no there is not. You need to bring your own pole, gear and licence to fish in Yosemite and the surrounding area. You can buy your licence online at: Click Here To Buy A California Fishing Licence

At the Mountain Sport Shop here you can buy bate and there is a few choices of tackel (like flies, hooks and a pole). Nowhere here rents the gear for a day. But the store is pricey. You are better off to plan ahead and come with your gear.

If you are flying in you can buy gear cheaper at the towns just before entering the park. The local bate and tackel shops and Walmarts would be your best bet. Hope this helps!

All My Best,

Kathy
