Nice picture! It's a beautiful animal. I just thought I'd let you know that the cat in your pic is a bobcat, not a cougar. We have both here, and although spotting either one is a treat, the cougars tend to be even more elusive.

Wow! I have been coming to Yosemite National Park regularly for over 45 years now. Never have I seen a cougar there! I have heard that they roam the Sierra Mountain range, but never have spotted one. I get so excited seeing the bears, I can't image how thrilling it was to see such a beautiful wild animal! Congratulations on a great find!
