Yosemite National Park Lodging At Housekeeping
Yosemite National Park Lodging has several choices available to you. There is a place to stay for every level of comfort that you desire. As long as your in Yosemite, you will have breath taking views of this National Park jewel.
Housekeeping is the name of a lodging place to say in Yosemite. This is an interesting place to stay! This lodging consists of permanent tents. The tents have built in bunk beds. Each tent has three permanent canvas sides with the forth side being a canvas shower curtain to close off the tent. Each campsite has a covered patio area, a cooking and dining area, a bear locker to keep your food in, a table and a fire ring. There are bunkbeds in each tent, but you must bring your own linens or sleeping bags. There is two bunkbeds on one wall and one bunk on the other wall. This lodging is right on the Merced River. It is open in the Spring and Fall months only. Since it is on the water, expect mosquitos in the summer and bears freely walk through these campsite! These campsites cost $64 a night plus tax (plus $5 per person over the age of 4).

There is publicly shared showers, a laundromat and a store at Housekeeping. Please keep all your food in the bear lockers. There are bear lockers at each campsite.
