Your Going To Love Yosemite!
by: Kathy Medina

Nita, you and your family are going to love Yosemite! The waterfalls are at their peak in the spring. (I posted a picture of Nevada Falls that I took in the spring here in Yosemite)

If you want to stay for less than a $100 a night then your best bet is a canvas tent at Curry Village or Yosemite West. The cabins in Curry Village will cost a little more than what you want to pay. But Curry is the heart of Yosemite Lodging.

Yosemite West in in Yosemite National Park, but not in the valley. It is just above the valley floor. They are an easy 30 minute drive to the valley and they have several nice choices. You may call them at (559) 642-2211. Tell them you hear about them from SeeYosemite.com.

Which ever place you want to stay...make your reservations now...spring is a popular time to visit Yosemite.

You will surely see deer here in the spring and the meadows will be green and full of wildflowers.

See my 1 Day visit page...its perfect for one full day here. On the another day, I would suggest
hiking Vernal Falls...you children are the perfect age for this hike.

If for some reason you don't want to hike, then spend one day rafting the river or bike riding. Either way, you will see lots of the valley granite cliffs and enjoy the nice weather that you surely will have when you come.

Take in a free ranger show (they are at Curry Village and The Lodge in their outdoor amplitheaters every night in the spring.)

When you go to the Visitors Center, there is always a free movie playing about Yosemite and they are worth seeing.

You are going to have a wonderfull visit here! You won't be disappointed!
